Hello all Pandan customer,
Below are the clarification from Fonterra about the generic halal logo used in their 250ml Anchor Whipping cream. Few online and walk in enquiries on the difference of the Halal logo.
Anchor UHT Whipping Cream 1Liter (Halal Logo)
Anchor UHT Whipping Cream 250ml (Halal Logo)

As'salam Cik Mazliana,
Reference is made to your query on the above
Firstly thank you so much for supporting our products.
For your information, ANCHOR is a product that is well distributed throughout the world (including Middle East & ASEAN countries) and there are different importing requirements from different countries. For example, Indonesia only recognised their own Halal body. In view of this, we had to take the decision to use the generic logo for the 250ml whipping cream as we are sharing the same packaging with Indonesia.
However, please be rest assured that all our products and brands including the 250ml Anchor UHT Whipping Cream are Halal certified by New Zealand Islamic Meat Management (NZIMM) and it is a Halal Body that is endorsed by JAKIM.
At Fonterra, we take Halal matters very seriously and we have our own Internal Halal Committee with a Standard Halal Policy to ensure that the Company and its employees adheres and comply to the Halal regulations set forth by JAKIM.
Should you have further enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned *****.
Thanks and wassalam

hello, how about anchor butter?
ReplyDeleteHello : Same goes to anchor butter as they came from the same source. Thanks, Pandan
ReplyDeleteWhat about the ingredients with e-codes. I've check the ingredients contain emulsifier e4xx(could not remember exacly whether e433 or xxx) that i understood contained pig fat.
ReplyDeleteHi, that is so general as bear in mind that most of the case be it use vegetable of animal fat the code number is the same. This is the info we understand from Jakim. Thanks, Pandan
ReplyDeleteHi...tq for the feedback...what i understood that e codes was from pig fat. Fyi, i've bring along list of e-codes in my wallet and every time i'll check the ingredients before buy any products. I know some of it form vegetables but that one is definitely from pig fat. I thought JAKIM will only declare if they have done some test for the ingredients. may be i've to write to JAKIM to verify this.
ReplyDeleteTQ
