Herba yang berperisa segar dan dingin ini terdapat di dalam pelbagai bentuk. Ia digunakan untuk menambah rasa ke dalam pencuci mulut, teh, dan masakan daging terutamanya kambing. Peppermint dan Spearmint adalah dua jenis pudina yang biasa. Peppermint mempunyai rasa lebih tajam dan kuat yang sering digunakan dalam menambah rasa teh, gula-gula, gula getah, minyak dan lain-lain. Spearmint pula mempunyai rasa yang lebih dingin dan kurang menyerlah, menjadikannya sesuai untuk menambah rasa ke dalam jeli pudina dan sos pudina.

Pudina dengan nama buah-buahan seperti epal pudina, oren pudina dan nenas pudina mempunyai rasa buah-buahan dan lebih manis dengan oren dan nenas memberikan rasa ‘limau kemasaman’. Untuk masakan, tanaman peppermint pudina adalah terlalu kuat. Hanya tuaikan daun yang muda kerana daun yang tua memberi rasa yang agak pahit. Spearmint lebih sesuai digunakan dalam masakan kerana rasanya yang lebih lembut berbanding peppermint. Ia digunakan untuk menambah rasa ke dalam masakan daging, ikan dan juga sayuran.

COLATTA DIP : STRAWBERRY

                                     

Collata Dip is a flavoured chocolate based. We added Colata Dip Strawberry beside the earlier added : Orange & Capucino.  Why it called dip?  It is meant for chocolate filling and any other recepies which requires filling. As usual, for all chocolate base, it has to be double boiled to get it melt for usage.  It is ready use and need not to add any additional flavor or coloring.

A new product added in Pandan.  Royal Victoria cream cheese manufactured by Tatura Milk Industries. The taste are yummy and not expensive compared to Philly. Recommended!

EGG SEPARATOR

Many recipes call for egg white without the yolk. Separating eggs can be a messy job, unless you have the right kind of kitchen utensil. The one that we have in Pandan is practically useful for all bakers. It is simple, just crack the egg and place in the red space and you will get it separately without you even notice.  It is made of plastic and the most importantly hygiene.

EGG BEATER (WHISK)

Another name for egg beater is whisk. A whisk is a cooking utensil that was used since last generation and a must item to have in our kitchen. Whisk is used in food preparation to blend ingredients or to incorporate air into a mixture where the process is known as whisking or whipping.

Most of the whisk in the market consist of a long, narrow handle with a series of wire loops joined at the end. The wires are usually metal but some are plastic and from bamboo too!
